About

Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, burnout, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are. My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to you.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My experience includes working with adults, children, youth, and families, as well as providing mental health services alongside remote Indigenous communities across Northwestern Ontario.

Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you're returning after time away, I look forward to walking alongside you as you take the next step in your journey.

FAQs

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

1

You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. You may simply feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or ready to understand certain patterns in your life. Therapy offers a space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface and work toward meaningful change at your own pace.

What can I expect from our first session?

2

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll explore what you’re experiencing, what you hope to get from our work together, and what approach may be most helpful. There’s no pressure to share everything at once.

How do I book a session, and how do we meet?

3

Booking is simple. Just click the Book Now button on my website, where you'll be guided through creating a secure client profile in Carepatron and selecting a time that works for you. Once your appointment is confirmed, you'll receive a Google Meet link by email. At your scheduled time, simply click the link to join your virtual session from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Is everything we discuss confidential?

4

Yes. Your privacy is a fundamental part of the therapeutic relationship. Everything we discuss is kept confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions required by law, such as concerns about immediate safety or when records are subpoenaed by a court. We'll review confidentiality together during your first session so you know exactly what to expect and can feel confident sharing openly.
